Tasman International Academies provides a number of English and diploma programs to international students and is currently seeking a TEFL qualified teacher to join our fun loving team and ensure the effective delivery of English language course. We offer different levels of General English and IELTS preparation courses. Our classes are small which means we give students individual attention and help with their specific problems.

A successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following:

Proven experience in teaching ESOL or IELTS

ESOL training and/or qualification

A love for people and teaching

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This lesson went over things such as authentic and non-authentic materials and the benefit of lesson plans and tips on how to create an effective lesson plan. It spoke of course books and their advantages and disadvantages and gave helpful advice on how to effectively utilize a course book and other materials. It also touched on some ways to maintain effective and helpful classroom discipline.Forming the basic sentence has many components. Each word can be classified by its purpose and meaning. Making grammatical errors is quite common and I find that I make them often. This is due to the fact that I have never intensly studied the parts of speech. Not only will learning the parts of speech be difficult for the learner but there are also many exceptions, which will make it harder.
