Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Speaking and writing form the productive skills of a language lesson and should not be ignored as they are important as well. Writing skills should pay close attention to a person's handwriting, layout and punctuation, and spelling. Extensive reading is of paramount importance in improving spelling of students. Though often ignored in a TEFL class, writing is very important and should be incorporated to make a class complete. This unit explores a vast number of equipment and teaching aids, and how each material, when used effectively, can help carry out a successful lesson. It is important to utilize different materials stimulating both visual and auditory senses, which help students become more engaged in a lesson and hold students' attention for a longer time. The unit also provides numerous resources at the end, including books and video links.
