Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit provided a great review of things previously learned in my youth. I was reminded the importance of knowing how to break down common sentences and phrases that are very important in learning conversational english specifically. This is imperative for an english teacher to know, especially when students have questions that will pinpoint different parts of sentence structures. The content is important, and very simple!Reviewing conditionals and reported speech is very helpful because as a frequent English-speaker, this is something that we do not think much about. However, for someone who is still unfamiliar and learning English, we should point these out and focus on them when teaching. It takes concentration and practice to understand the grammar of English, and making sure the students understand these thoroughly is extremely important.
