Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I learned about the differences in speech. Showing what each phonetic sound in the English alphabet is using a chart. What parts of the throat, tongue, and air are used during speech. Showing about linked speech and how it helps a student attain fluency if they can understand a speaker who uses it. As well as teaching methods for teaching pronunciation through peer dictation, the teachers mouth, and drawn visuals.Section fourteen was about choosing appropriate course materials and books. This section taught me the advantages and disadvantages about pre-made course books. This section also taught me which activities could be helpful if using created materials. I am a creative individual but adapting my creativity to a teaching environment may prove more difficult than I expected, so this section taught me how to avoid that.
