Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit 18 finishes describing English grammar that is important for an English teacher, but also points out that a lot of aspects are still need to be taken into account in order to achieve better results. Unit gives a brief explanation of the grammar points such as modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice, rules of their usage and, as always, some ideas that I can use in my future teaching practice. This unit focused on the productive skills of speaking and writing. The unit stated that these productive skills are used to communicate and tat people have a variety of reasons for communicating. The unit also outlined the difference between accuracy and fluency. Noting that while both are of equal levels of importance, the need for accuracy or fluency changes at different points in a lesson.
