Our client is a major petroleum company in Kuwait. We are currently looking to recruit 2 Experienced English Instructors to join our team. You will be required to teach both General and Technical English to prepare and support Female Kuwaiti students (High school Diploma holders) on a pilot female BTEC training programme within the Petroleum Sector. Prior experience of this sector is not required for the post. The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable and resourceful. Previous experience of the Middle East would be an advantage but is not essential. Working in Kuwait is a pleasant experience and culturally diverse, offering everything that you would expect from a modern city. Start Date in Kuwait: March 2007 for a duration of 9 months (3 months on 2 weeks off cycle where you will get to return home every 3 months). Work will be full time, 5 days per week (Saturday to Wednesday). There will be a minimum of 6 contact hours per day Requirements for the position: Female (Due to religious and cultural differences). Bachelor's Degree (from an accredited university). Preferably PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate of Education) CELTA / TESOL certification or other recognized teaching English as a second language qualification. (on-line qualifications are not acceptable) Minimum 5 years relevant EFL experience Proven experience in developing English programmes. Able to commit for a contract period of 9 months Be a native English Speaker Hold a valid UK passport (valid for at least 2 years) We offer a healthy tax free salary (up to £2800/month all inclusive dependant on experience).
