Both writing and speaking are hard to teach. Simply because students don't want to write and speak. Why? Because they don't know what to write and don't know what to say. Their reason is they don't know how to speak in English. As a teacher, it's important on how to handle such situations, to encourage students to write and to speak. I find the activities in this unit more useful to an English teacher.Teaching tenses is the most difficult task for teacher, especially for the native speaker. To be honest, we did not learn any specific terms about grammar before. After learning this chapter, I found that it is very useful to understand about the different tenses and ideas with future meanings. Moreover, it is easy for me to explain to students when to use the future tenses in different situations.
