The Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco), owned by the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain, is engaged in exploration and prospecting for oil, drilling, production, refining, distribution of petroleum products and natural gas, sales and exports of crude oil and refined products.
BAPCO wishes to recruit an English Language Specialist to join its EFL team, and to deliver its well-established English language programme. The person appointed will be of native speaker standard, qualified to postgraduate level (Teaching Certificate / Diploma as a minimum) and will have at least five years experience in delivering English language training to an advanced level in an industrial environment, preferably in the Middle East, and experience in preparing candidates for UCELS/BEC examinations. Proven ability to develop and deliver communication skills programmes (including report writing and presentation skills) will be a distinct advantage, as well as a knowledge of language test development.
Bapcos programme uses external accreditation through Cambridge BEC examinations, and covers bands 1 to 6 in the IELTS banding scheme.
