Academic Affairs Coordinator
The coordinator ensures the efficient delivery of academic programs and works closely with faculty and staff to coordinate academic class preparation and administration. The coordinator is the first point of contact for any academic student inquiries.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Analysing and evaluating school’s academic programs to meet ministry of education graduation requirements.
• Planning and facilitating academic events for stakeholders (PUE, MOEHE, Universities and other schools).
• Providing advice and guidance to students and faculty about academic policies and procedures.
• Assist senior leadership team with data input related to classes, grading, student schedules, etc. on school databases and reporting systems.
• Coordinating academic related information on the school website, syllabus, and any school academic office publications/correspondence.
• Helping to ensure the appropriate maintenance of academic records and data protection requirements.
• Assisting with the maintenance of records of grades, attendance, class offerings, etc. according to correct procedures.
• Coordinating credit recovery program and support for students.
• Conducting informational sessions for students, staff and parents.
• Contributing to the strategic development of the academic program.
• Works with the Principal and lead teachers in the curriculum review and curriculum development process.
• Observes, supervises, and evaluates instructors and others as per the organisational chart.
• Works to ensure that best practices in teaching and learning are followed.
• Serves as a member of the Prime Admissions Committee, the Prime Executive Team, Student Discipline Committee, and other committees as assigned by the Prime Principal.
• Oversees the production of the Prime Student Handbook and the Faculty and Staff Handbook.
• Works to establish and maintain good relations with various stakeholders and the broader community.
• Reviews requests for professional development.
• Assists in resolving student/instructor conflicts.
• Disseminates the Honors list.
• Disseminates the probation list and arranges for the production and distribution of probation letters.
• Attends key events including student orientation, National Day Celebrations, graduation, and other events and duties as appropriate/requested.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• Teaching certification. (TEFL/TESOL preferred)
• 6-8 years of classroom teaching experience with 3 years of special education teaching experience.
• Thorough knowledge of special education procedures and the relevant programs.
• Recent and relevant professional development.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent writing skills – ability to draft / edit a variety of written reports and communications and articulate ideas clearly and concisely in Arabic and English.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Proficiency in PowerSchool/Manage Back.Apply:
