Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

There are 4 past tenses. They are past tense, past perfect, past continuous, past perfect continuous. All of them related to past. The construction is the same like in present tenses but we use past 'to be'. Also, we have to know all the irregular forms of the past verbs. I have to practise more and use all of those tenses in mixed sentences. I've noted some interesting games that I can use teaching past tenses grammar. This unit was very informative as far as learning about the purpose of lesson planning and what should be included in the lesson plans. I know that depending on the school, there are different requirements for lesson plans. This general outline of the basic form and principles of a lesson plan is very helpful. I now know that it is important to be flexible, have certain goals in place, and balance, when it comes to lessons.
