Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I had taken a month break due to work and personal time. I loved coming back in and doing this unit today. The summer time, this material, and the flow of the text really does a great job teaching concepts. I learned/was retaught (as I am a student, myself) how important it is to listen and work with all students' interests and not just mine or a select few. I loved reading over the flow of this text and look forward to the next one.pronunciation of the word is not usually relevant factor in the selection of vocabulary to teach. a student's difficulty in learning a new vocabulary item does not usually depend upon how long the word has been in common usage. students don't need to know about the origin of the word about any new vocabulary. using pictures to elicit the meaning of words are the activities for encouraging new vocabulary is suitable for English phase.
