LA PIEDAD, MICHOACAN, MEXICO - Mature, Professional teachers needed. One teacher needed for the period of Aug. 26, 2006 - June 28, 2007 An additional teacher beginning mid January 2007.

New York School of English offers:

1.$4000 peso monthly salary 2.Housing - Fully furnished teachers house: private bedroom, full kitchen, laundry facilities, television, cable, paid electric. ( a $2000+ peso value, paid by the school) 3.Classroom: fully furnished with computer, color television, video player, cd/cassette stereo, whiteboard. 4.Paid Christmas and Easter Vacations 5.Part time work schedule 6.No Saturday teaching requirement 7.Family owned, professionally managed, ESL school Owners experienced in the living abroad experience: most of the headaches and hassles have been targeted and eliminated for our visiting teachers.

Teacher Requirements:

1. Teaching hours: 8am - 8:40am, 3:20pm - 8pm M-F 2. Total teaching hours: 25 3. ESL/TESOL degree or certificate 4. Teaching experience 5. College or University degree a plus 6. Professional dress required 7. Mature, professional, flexible, considerate, polite, and respectful

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit gave the teacher ideas and important point on how to deal with students in class about accuracy and fluency. it showed the relationship between them and how they are equally important and gave the teacher the points and headlines to stress on each one of them. The unit discussed the importance of productive skills that are writing and speaking and how the teacher can deliver these skills to students in class.This unit is about some of the ways in which new vocabulary, grammar, and language functions can be introduced. It is also mentions things that should be considered when deciding what should be taught and how it should be taught. It gives some examples of possible lesson plans. From this unit, I gained a better understanding of how to tailor lessons on vocabulary, grammar, and language functions to a specific audience.
