Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.
After going through this regularly it gets clearer how to get your students to engage and take an active role in the lessons. Teaching someone a language is extremely challenging at the best of times and it is not always easy to impart the knowledge to students, The lessons make it easier and help with the understanding of the different methods required for different classes. One on one or beginners and so forth.A useful guide into various teaching aids and how to use them. The unit also provides a selection of usefull internet resourses for language teaching and learning, which I find particulary helpful. However, the content of the unit appears to be a little outdated in places. For example, there is a great deal of information on how to use a cassete recorder, although, to my knowledge, such devices are no longer used.
