Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.
Reading and listening skills have many different components. It is not as simple is teaching vocabulary and grammar. We use many subtle skills like skimming and predicting what we read and hear. We also use context a lot and the only way to get experience in this is to practice our listening and reading. This leads me to believe that there should be a regular listening activity in any english instruction curriculumI really like this course very much. Because all lectures and tests are straight forward. I really enjoyed this online course because it was well planned and played out, easy for me to follow. My only problem now is the time, because I am working ten hours a day. I learn and retain much more through this online course. To be honest there is nothing that I dislike. About the course I love it and I like it very much.
