This lesson provided a great example to future teacher of what to/not to do when teaching a lesson. It also provided future teachers an example of what their classroom environment will look like. We not only were able to see and learn from the way the teacher was performing his lessons, we also got to see what caught the student’s attention as well as focus on what will/will not make students uncomfortable.Unit 3 was particularly valuable in teaching me the various techniques that is important to make sure that I use eye contact, gestures and my voice to benefit my students. The section about maintaining discipline was especially insightful by giving reasons for problem behavior as well as guidelines to prevent problem behavior. Overall I found this unit remarkably well outlined and easy to understand and study.
