Personal Growth Education Consultants has opportunities for TEFL certified teachers in Bogota, Cali, Medellin, Barranquilla, Villavicencio, Popayan, Monteria, Santa Marta and Cucuta. Working as an EFL teacher with Personal Growth International in Colombia is a great option to change your vision and to return home as a different person.

We have immediate openings in Bogota and Barranquilla for TEFL graduates, with or without experience, to teach teenagers and adults 48 hours per week. Benefits include a salary of $1.800.000 COP per month.

We are also looking for people with a minimum of 1 year’s experience who are available to start in February 2016 and are prepared to commit through to November. This position involves teaching young learners and teenagers Monday to Friday 6.30 AM- 4 PM plus 1 Saturday every 2 months to give reports to the parents. Pay for this position is $2 million COP. per month.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit is very interesting for how it breaks down the type of materials that can be used by a teacher in a lesson. During school I had experienced most of these materials being used, however I really never put much thought into the preparation involved with using such materials. This unit also gives a lot of good examples of materials to be used which will be helpful later down the line.Tenses is one of the hard things to teach and make our learners understand and use it properly. Anyway It's a challenge to find the ways to get the task and the teaching ideas provided in the course are a very helpful material to be used in my own experience. Also the important to know the level from our students and use Basic and clear language with many examples when we talk about tenses.
