This unit provides a simple overview of the past tense. I found very useful the explanations and examples in the usage sections of each past tense, as well as the section that provides examples for each tense as the most common errors and mistakes. These common errors and mistakes are noteworthy to be flagged not only for the student, but for the teacher as well as they are often confused with different tenses in oral speech.Unit 1 was an introduction of the course where topics such as: course content, the mechanics of the course, accessibility to tutors, target groups, general terminology one might come across,definition of a young learner, job prospects, and overall expectations for the course. The unit also went over different ways to digest the course and soak in the information. I am looking forward to delving into the course in more detail.
