The Codrington School, The International School of Barbados, seeks the services of a qualified and experienced educator for the position of Learning Support teacher as of August 2024.
The successful applicant will hold at least a relevant initial degree; a teaching qualification and at least two years’ full time teaching experience as a qualified teacher. The position will require the successful candidate to teach within the International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes. As such the successful candidate must be cognizant of, and his/her teaching philosophy should reflect that of, the IB. Experience teaching in an International school setting is expected. IB training/experience in one of the IB programmes is highly desirable.
The position will require the teacher providing learning support to a small number of students in both the PYP and MYP years as well as offering a second subject, preferably English.
