Starting date - April 15 2023Job Description:Successful applicants will be offered a position as an English teacher. English teachers teach between 4-6 classes a day. Each class meets five times a week from Monday - Friday.All Paragon teaching staff have a daily planning hour from 1:30 - 2:30. English classes run from 2:30PM - 8:30PM. The afternoon begins with children ages 4-6 and ages increase as the day grows later with the last class of the day with adults.English teacher salaries range from $800-$1200 depending on the number of classes they teach. Minimum Qualifications• C2 Level of English• University degree• 120+ hour TEFL/CELTA/TESOL certificate• Travel insurance• Excellent classroom management skills• Preferred: 1+ years' experience teaching in an EFL context.• Preferred: Conversational Spanish Paragon Galapagos provides:- A monthly stipend of between USD 800-1200 depending on class load.- Access to public health care- Assistance acquiring visa and housing- 1 week paid vacation and all national holidays- Reimbursement of Ecuador visa fee- Reimbursement of travel expenses (USD $500)For details on how to apply, please contact the email address in the job heading.
