EFL teacher and administrator opportunity in Latin America. A small school in a very peaceful small rural town in Honduras is looking for someone to teach a few classes as well as gradually take over administrative responsibilities. Room and board supplied as well as a salary and opportunity to grow the salary. We are a young but growing school providing high quality education for children from Kindergarten to 6th grade. Our student teacher ratio is normally about 10 to 1In addition to the salary, if you are interested in earning extra income, you would be given the opportunity to teach evening or weekend English classes to adults, some of which would be parents of your students.Candidates do not necessarily need to be native English speakers but native speakers are preferred as are candidates who are TEFL qualified. The ability to speak at least basic Spanish is important. If you have questions, or would like an Employment Application, please email us at the address given on the job heading.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

i always had problems with part of speech such as Gerunds and Adverbs but this unit has gone ahead to detail explain its use and mechanisms on how to properly teach and explain this part of speech to the students, not forgetting the fact that the other parts of speech such as Nouns,Verbs,Adjectives and conjunction just to name a few which i already have mastery of has been further refined in my memory. This was a unit about equipment and teaching aids. I have learned a lot from this unit. I have learned about the different teaching aids that are used in a classroom. Some of the teaching aids are a DVD, a video camera, an overhead projector, a blackboard and an interactive whiteboard. It was interesting to learn how and when these teaching aids are used in the classroom. Overall this was a good unit.
