Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit was an excellent review of the parts of speech of the English language. It required concentration and focus as I relearned material long-forgotten. Reviewing the usage and types of nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, pronouns and prepositions was like a visit with my beloved seventh grade teacher of many years ago. How necessary this knowledge is as a foundation for teaching English from the ground up! Thank you.Using materials and classroom exercises is an important part of teaching. Knowing what you should and shouldn't use will make you a great teacher. Lessons that include interesting and well adapted materials will make it easier for the students to pick up and make it sink in better. Differentiating between authentic and created materials was also beneficial as you will have to develop your own material when teaching English.
