Unit 19 covered a few types of teaching groups one might have in their career : children, individuals and business groups. The unit gave tips to used for each group, the motivations each might have, and how to deal with teaching problems one might encounter. I learned that, no matter what group you have, it's important to speak clearly, find out what motivates them to learn English, and to be patient because everyone learns differently.In this session I learned about reading and listening receptive skills, they are both divided into two groups ,for a purpose and for the entertainment. There are many ways we read articles or news , one of the ways is skimming information or my favorite is scanning for particular information I need. Then we have the language where you have to create interesting topics and tasks that are not to difficult but can be achieved in good time.
