Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit 18 covers modals, phrasal verbs, and passive voice. I did not know what a modal was, now I feel quite confident in modals. The passive voice was also difficult to understand, until I watched the video. The video explained quite a bit more than the written unit. I am thoroughly confused by phrasal verbs. More material needs to be added to this section. I did not see anything relating to it on the video.I learned how to use the course books and various material through this unit. and why most teacher use authentic materals(they are real and more interesting and motivating, students gain confidence when they understand them, they can be geared to the interests of a particular group of students) and materials(crosswords, word search puzzles, Role play cards, flashcards, Gap fill activities, picture stories.)
