University graduate (with TEFL certificate) required as soon as possible.  Any age, and must be good with kids.

Work will be six days a week, from the afternoon till evening (typically from 2pm to 9pm).

Students range from ages 4 to adult, the highest level being pre-intermediate.

Contract will initially be for one year.

Pay is based on a percentage system, so usually ranges from 200, 000 to 300, 000 yen per month, which is more than enough to live very comfortably on.

Some money for living accomodation will also be provided, along with a car and furnishings.

Someone with a strong interest in learning Japanese will have a much better time!  Lessons can be arranged.

About the location - the island of Tokunoshima, part of Kagoshima prefecture.  One of several islands stretching from the southern tip of Kyushu to Okinawa.  The oceans here are more beautiful than anywhere else I've seen.  Surrounded by coral reefs, the island is excellent for any ocean activities - scuba, surfing, snorkeling, spearfishing... also lessons in Japanese martial arts can be arranged (judo, aikido, or karate).

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

i learnt the methodologist of teaching English as Foreign Language. The stages and ideas of using ESA (Engage/Study/Activate) method . what to do and how to make the class more fun for the student. The technique of using ENGAGE stage to start the class, follow up by the STUDY stage where student do worksheet after lecturing and ended up ACTIVATE stage enable the get the feedback of the today lesson from student what they learnt. This section dealt with every conditional that an English speaker will face when when responding to results from a condition. This part of the unit was very strait forward and easy to understand. Next the unit goes into reported speech and how tenses change when context is being reported. I believe this section covered past and present examples thoroughly but failed to fully cover what happens when reporting upon a future event.
