Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit I have learnt about how important eye contact, hand gestures and the voice in the classroom are. I have also learnt about pros and cons of different ways of grouping students within the classroom. I found the part about teacher’s position in the class very useful, as well as the part about resolving problematic behavior. I felt like I lack good problem solving methods in class and now I can try to implement them.I liked this lesson, mainly as it gave me some clarity of my role(s) as a teacher, and allowed me to reflect greater on the benefits these roles could bring to my students. It was also good to see a clear to see how a students language skills could fit into the 5 language levels. i imagine using and having an understanding of this would allow me to set up lessons which were relevant to the students and their english skill levels.
