Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit has taught me that receptive skills are equally as important as productive skills. It has demonstrated how one can engage the students with a variety of topics and not to be biased when choosing the topics to the stronger or weaker students. This unit has helped my understanding as it covers in depth how one breaks down how we read and listen, whether that be a quick scan or in depth analysis with attention to detail. This unit introduces teaching different groups-different types of classes. Different tips and teaching skills will be needed when teaching teaching different groups--Beginners,individual students, children, Business English, the monolingual and multilingual classes, since they have their own features and motivations. Only when a teacher can be aware of different types of groups and their features, can he/she teach students well.
