TEFL in Japan - Chiba

Most students are more focus on the fluency of their speaking rather than the writing skills. However, it is very important for them to develop and improve the writing skills, especially grammar and spelling. Teachers can try to find some games to motivate the students to participate in the writing activities. After studying this chapter, I think we can introduce more competitive games and co-operative games in the writing lesson.I really enjoyed reading about this unit. I think incorporating games and fun things in a classroom is great and can really motivate students to want to learn no matter the age group. I thought it was awesome that there were some examples at the end and I think I will use them in my own future classroom because they are great examples. I was surprised to see units 5 and 5a because no unit has had a second section like this one did.
