Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit talks about how to use eye contact, gesture, voice, and the names of students to enhance the teaching efficiency. Also it describes how to group the students, and how to make the classroom arrangement. On interesting topic is about how to write on the board. The unit also talks about the balance between the teacher talking time and the student talking time, the establishment of rapport, as well as the discipline issue. After reading this lesson, I am amazed to see how my teacher came up with their daily lessons. It really does not matter whether you are teaching AP Physics of primary math, there really is a formula to being a good teacher. Combine the rapport from the last unit and the proven methods of teaching from this unit and you relly make teaching seem like a recipe for success that I hope I can one day apply to teaching my own students.
