Some include teaching part-time at university (these positions require a masters degree), some involve teaching mainly children, and others involve teaching a range of age-groups and teaching part-time at a high school.

Applicants should have a qualification in teaching English as a foreign/second language or be specialists in teaching children. All applicants should feel positive about the possibility of teaching elementary school children in small classes.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit 1 describes the different types of students that can be present in classes. Unit 1 also provides information regarding the proper way for a teacher to present their authority for a well rounded, positive experience for all types of learners. Each classroom is a difference environment, and the teacher must be both receptive and malleable in order to motivate their students to achieve their personal--as well as the class'--goals.In this unit I reviewed Present Tenses, their usage and practical activities to teach each tense to students. This unit covers Present simple, Present continuous, Present perfect and present perfect continuous tenses, the negative and question forms of each plus the typical mistakes/errors students make in this regards. I personally found the activity section of the unit very interesting and useful while teaching grammar to students.
