Merry House English School was established in 1980.
We are looking for a full-time English conversation teaching position.
We are located in Shizuoka Japan, which is acceptable to Tokyo by via train and also we can see Mt. Fuji every day!

Position: English Conversation Teacher.
Term: 18 months contract (renewable)
Starting: 2025. March~
Location: Kannami, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan
Salary: 285,000 yen / month
Training: 2-3 weeks at 5000 yen / day
Work Days: Tuesday to Saturday
Day off: Sunday & Monday
Hours: 26 teaching hours / week.
Requirements:
1. University degree
2. TEFL or TESOL/CELTA certification.
3. Teaching experience is preferred.
Description: Teaching conversational English, EIKEN and grammar classes to adults, teens, and children (including "Parent and Baby" classes). Both group and individual classes are offered at a friendly, family-oriented private school.
Teachers are expected to follow the assigned curriculum and guidelines of the school. They are responsible for planning the details and delivery of their lessons independently and are encouraged to use their creativity in their teaching.
Additional Benefits:
- Approximately six weeks holidays per year
( Christmas time, in Spring, in Golden Week, in Summer and national holiday). Holidays are set according to the school's schedule.
-Accommodation is arranged by the company. You will have an individual apartment (59,500 yen / month). Utilities are your responsibility. The apartment is fully furnished and includes a bed, refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, and Wi-Fi.
-We arrange necessities such as work visa, foreign resident's card, bank account.
-Beautiful surroundings close to Mount Fuji, Atami Beach, and accessible to Tokyo via train.
