Enthusiastic teacher required for immediate start in a well established school in north Italy. Must have degree, a TEFL certificate and an EU passport. Experience not essential if applicants have a good work record. The selected teacher will be teaching general and business English both in school and in companies. In this unit, I learned about receptive skills, what they are, and how they are used. The receptive skills are listening and reading (knowledge input). We use these skills to predict, scan, skim, deduce and intake information that surrounds us. One strategy I will implement when teaching to pre-teach vocabulary that I think may be too difficult for students to understand. Basically, any word where context clues are not enough.The unit describes two basic skills of learning every language - reading and listening. They are also called receptive skills as the learners \"receive\" the information using his main senses - sight and hearing. The unit briefly shows the main reasons and motives for receiving the information and going through it. Also it gives good ideas for ESA lesson plans, trying to make it more interesting for all categories of students.
