Being able to plan a lesson is a vital skill for the teacher. When he/she knows how to involve the students into the lesson, how to make them participate in the process of studying and make it successfully, all these make the lessons effective. If teachers are able to make apppropriate plan and also think about unexpected situations, which may happen during the lesson, it will be benefit not only for them, but also for their studentsUsing a course book for teaching can be advantageous. It can provide you with a developed method for teaching and allow you to be guided by giving you ideas and steps for lesson planning. As a new teacher, I would definitely use a course book! At the very least, it can enable you to combine your knowledge and the 'tried and tested' knowledge of the book to create lesson plans that can be geared towards your specific students' needs.
