eBamma English, an Irish owned company based in Dublin, is currently recruiting TEFL qualified and experienced English Language Teachers to deliver online English as a foreign language training to students around the world via our live English platform. We offer a sensible monthly salary.
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.
Unit three begins by briefly describing a number of different approaches to teaching English as a second language. This unit attempts to provide structure to a very ambiguous though easy-to-imagine class scenario. Not only are types of lesson plans described but also possible educational games or didactic activities that allow learning of the English language to occur in a more informal type of setting. This lesson showed that many mistakes are make in everyday conversation when using conditions and reported speech. I could see mistakes that I have used and how to now correctly use the right tense. I still have some concerns over how to use the tense with reported and direct speech and will need to consult a tutor on this subject. I will practice the lesson and use the teaching ideas in my own speech.
