Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit was about reporting speech and conditional sentences. It went over the differences between conditional forms and how the sentences are changed when you are reporting what someone else has said presently or in the past. I found this unit to be the best one so far as not only did it give clear examples after each explanation but it also provided teaching ideas with short examples for each part. This particular chapter is much harder than the rest. This is because there is no right or wrong way to go about planning your lessons and teaching your students once you are clear what to do. Each and every teacher has their own unique method of conducting their lesson. Personally I would prefer to stick with a straight arrow method for beginners, because it gives them more exposure to speaking power.
