AIS Jakarta will be seeking at least one Primary Homeroom Teacher to commence in January 2025.
This is an opportunity to join the vibrant Primary faculty at AIS Jakarta. We follow the Australian Curriculum for Foundation to Year 10, preparing the students for study in the IB Diploma, or a school based programme in Years 11 and 12. Our senior students achieve results well above the world average for the IB, but we have a focus of enabling success and achievement for all students. AIS caters for a demographic ranging from the highly academic to special educational needs and we prize our differentiation and inclusion. Extension of contract upon mutual agreement between school and teacherStart Date: The successful applicant will be expected to arrive in Jakarta on 16 January 2025 for orientation, settling in and teacher planning day before students commence on 30 January.
AIS adheres to the guidelines of the International Task Force on Child Protection (ITFCP) Recommended Screening and Assessment Practices for International School Recruitment and holds ourselves to a high standard of effective recruiting practices with specific attention to child protection. AIS will hold phone or video conference conversations with at least two professional referees for all candidates before a position to teach at AIS is offered.
