Beacon Academy, Jakarta is seeking a passionate and qualified homeroom teacher to join our dynamic team! We are a nurturing preschool with an IB Early Years Curriculum that provides young children a fun and engaging learning environment. Responsibilities:
* Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that align with our curriculum
* Create a safe and stimulating learning environment
* Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
* Observe and assess student progress
* Communicate effectively with parents and families
* Maintain accurate records
* Participate in professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field
* TEFL/TESOL certificate preferred
* Minimum of two years of experience teaching preschool
* Strong child development knowledge
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, creativity, and flexibility
* A love for learning and playing with young children
