EF English First Menteng is a well-established language school located in the heart of Indonesia's capital city--Jakarta. We are seeking native speakers who are qualified EFL teachers to join our staff on a one-year renewable contract.
Qualifications: We require candidates to have a TEFL Certificate (RSA CELTA, Trinity or equivalent) or suitable experience and background. A love of teaching, enthusiasm and a good sense of humor are essential.
The School: We offer a wide range of courses, including General English, Business English, Children's courses, TOEFL Preparation, Conversation, In-House Corporate Training and one-to-one tutoring.
Our school is fully-equipped with computer lab, video equipment and constantly updated supplementary material. Of course, our greatest resource is our supportive, dedicated teaching staff.
Jakarta: Being located in the central business district of Jakarta has its advantages (other than a consistent supply of business students!). We are also near Western-style shopping centers, restaurants serving cuisine from around the world, cinemas showing the latest movies in English with subtitles and cafes and pubs.
Jakarta offers all the conveniences of a large city while providing an excellent jumping-off point for travel to the tropical paradise that surrounds it.
Compensation: We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including round-trip airfare, housing, 22 days paid holiday, overtime compensation, work permit/visa, and medical insurance. The salary is more than enough to live well and travel during holidays in Indonesia.
