This was a good introduction to the role of the teacher, and understanding the varying types of students and their motivations. This will be useful as I enter the classroom to make an assessment and better adapt to my role. The questions at the end of the exam are surprising as they were not covered in the course material but are useful in understanding some of the issues that may arise as a teacher.From this unit, I learnt that an efficient teacher should care about his teaching and about students' learning.I now have an understanding of the divers roles of a teacher. It's important for a teacher to have mastery over his class and lessons. The use of mimes and games should not be left out because a language class should be lively. Therefore, a good teacher will surely come up with good students.
