Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Refreshing my knowledge on the detailed descriptions of various types of assessments was needed. I also learned about the different types of Cambridge assessments that are administered around the world. The use assessments is not merely for a grade but the data collected from them should be used to help guide the direction of the lesson plan. Collected assessment data also allows for student personalized lessons and individual growth. It was probably the easiest chapter yet for me. Beyond superficial studying, I believe I have a pretty decent grasp on all of the grammar. The trick will be to remember all the names for them, and hopefully applying them to class in an easy-to-understand way. The good thing about grammar is that as long as you know it well, you may be able to teach it efficiently. Understanding why we say what we do is a cornerstone of great teaching.
