Brekkuborg School has an immediate opportunity for an active EFL preschool teacher. We work under the Reggio approach, which goals are to provide independence, democracy, and a positive environment. The motto of the school is Friendship - Respect - Democracy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Providing guidance and support to a child with special needs.
To co-operate with parents, professionals and other advisors.
To prepare and follow up on an individual curriculum guide.
To carry out the tasks relating to special needs education, and other tasks within the preschool, as assigned by the headmaster.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Preschool teacher education or any relevant education
TEFL/TESOL certificate
Experience of special needs education is a bonus
Agility and flexibility in communication
Independent and organized working methods
Initiative, interest, and ambition at work
Good Icelandic skills
Native-level English speakers
BENEFITS:
