Essential requirements:

• be a native English speaker

• have a clean police record and good health (physical/mental)

• have completed or due to complete a Bachelor Degree or higher qualification in any discipline (a degree in early childhood education, or a teaching related degree is an advantage).

• have a TEFL / TESOL certificate

• teaching experience is preferred but not required.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit 15 included the different testing methods for evaluation and testing of students. Placement, progress, diagnostic, external, and practice test make up the range of tests that students will need for effective evaluation and progress tracking. The unit spoke of the assessment and certificates provided by the broad range of Cambridge ESOL and Cambridge test categories of general English.This lesson was about teaching styles and how to teach a class the proper way based on concepts such as attitude, preparation and style. This lesson shows the person learning this material that the little things that a teacher does in the classroom and the little changes he or she makes to make it better and more enjoyable for the students can and will determine the outcome of the lesson.
