YoYo Camps (Germany) offers English holiday camps for German children between the ages of 6 and 15. Languages are not taught in the classroom, but instead through an informal setting of fun activities. Our campsites are located in Germany in and around Berlin and Lower Saxony. Summer camps will happen between June 30th and August 25th, 2023. Salary is oriented on the minimum wage of Germany. Extended criminal record and First Aid are required.We offer English, French and Spanish holiday camps for German children between the ages of 6 and 15. Our campsites are located in Germany in and around Berlin and Lower Saxony.We require that you:✓ are native or have a native-level English, Spanish or French (according to your camps). A plus if you're bilingual;✓ TEFL/TESOL certified✓ are available between June 30th and August 25th, 2023;✓ are enthusiastic and passionate about working with kids!!!;✓ have knowledge or some experience in camp life, working with children and teaching English;✓ are responsible and reliable and have excellent communication and organizational skills;✓ are creative and spontaneous and inspire and motivate children. A plus if you have any specific skills such as graffiti, dance, acrobatics, music teaching, theater, or any other skill that you want to implement in the camps.We offer you:✓ free accommodation and transportation in the weeks you'll be working;✓ time to travel in-between camps and sometimes a week off;✓ weekly pocket money between €250-€350;✓ an international environment where you can make new acquaintances;✓ a chance to learn a great deal about child and youth care with experienced trainers.
IMPORTANT: You need a visa for Germany as well as a work permit (except if you are an EU citizen)! A work permit is easy to get if you are a university student during your summer holidays. If you are not a student, we can only offer you a freelance contract. In this case, please check the possibilities to get a visa and work permit for a freelance contract with the German Embassy in your country! Additionally to the valid visa and work permit, you´ll need an extended criminal record and a first aid certificate. Normally, it takes up to three months to arrange all the paperwork. We need all documents latest end of April 2023.
