We have 3 schools, one in Koblenz (ca. 25 Staff) and the others in Ettlingen and Pforzehim (these 2 are close to each other and together have ca. 20 Staff. All schools have requirements for teachers at different times.Job Description:Teaching mainly to adults in small groups of 4-6 and many single classes. All levels from Beginner to C1, a lot of business English is taught. Some Kids courses also take place.Many classes are outside the school and the school provides a car (fully fuelled and insured by the school) for this.Schedules: Usually split shift i.e. early mornings from ca. 7.30 am to roughly 10.30 am followed by a break and then classes again as of ca. 5 pm to 7.30pm or indeed on one or two evenings up to 8.40 pm.Salary & Conditions : this is a full time contract as per German law, which means that the gross is approx euro 1400 and the net 1100 per month for 25 hours (60 minutes each) per week of teaching (including some Saturdays 9-12 midday). The salary is guaranteed each month and overtime is paid at the same rate. We initially do a two year contract but have many teachers (also US citizens) who have been with us for more than 7 years.25 days of paid holidays as well as sick pay (as per the german system)Full medical and pension contributionsCost of living: expect ca. euro 375 for an apartment plus the same for basics (food etc) = 750 per month.
