The most difficult part of being a teacher is to manage the classroom and maintain discipline. Even if the teacher knows a lot about the language (or any subject), how much the students will learn always depends on the classroom management in the end. Therefore, it is very important for a teacher to know how to group students, giving individual attention, arranging TTT and STT wisely, establishing rapport and maintaining discipline.While some of this unit seems obvious, there are several instances when I realized that things like classroom layout are not just different ways to lay out a class, but can highly affect the usefulness of the classroom work or activities. Each one of the topics in this unit all tie in to the greater need for understanding your students, but also understanding how to interact with your students to enhance their learning capabilities.
