Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit 2 was concerned with very basic grammar, for example what a verb is, types of nouns, and adjectives. It is useful to clarify these in order to understand rules of languages and . Knowing the categories of the language are imperative for teaching and learning a foreign language. I found this unit fairly easy, it is simply a case of refreshing my memory in order to apply technical language to speech in order to be a better teacher! This lesson is truly helpful as pronunciation is one of the aspects that most of my students want to improve on. Studying phonology, intonation, stress and other factors affecting pronunciation made me more eager to learn and to practice what I learned. I'm already familiar with teaching correct pronunciation to my students but with the aid of this new learning, I surely would be able to improve myself and be a better teacher as well.
