Carl Duisberg Centren is a leading service enterprise in the area of international training and qualifications. We promote life-long learning through high-quality language courses, intercultural training, valuable experiences abroad and industry-specific professional training. We are constantly looking for TEFL qualified English teachers on a freelance basis.
Our headquarters is in Cologne and we have six other locations in Germany: Berlin, Hanover, Munich, Saarbrücken, Radolfzell and the Rhine-Main area. We also have an extensive international network to serve our customers worldwide, including representative offices in China, Iran and Malaysia.
We offer programs aimed at people of all ages and career stages, e.g. students venturing out into the world for the first time, working professionals seeking to improve their career perspective or companies on the road to global success. We also manage cross-border educational projects for the international business sector and institutions.
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
Undergraduate or postgraduate degree and/or teaching certificate (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA etc.)
C1 proficiency for teaching levels A1 to B1, C2 proficiency for all other teaching levels
A good working knowledge of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
Experience in teaching languages to adult learners
Experience in teaching in companies with international clients
An interest in further developing your skills and participating in teacher workshops
Experience in teaching in multicultural contexts (intercultural skills)
Working knowledge of at least one additional foreign language
Valid residence permit and work permit for Germany (if applicable)
Mobility, flexibility, motivation, commitment, loyalty
