Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.
The different skills that were discussed in this eleventh unit have helped me to realize the importance of each of the skills when they are put to use and that they are equally important for teaching and learning English. As a matter of fact, all the skills (reading and listening skills and so on) are really important for the learners so that they will be efficient in all aspects of English language.Unit 16 covers conditionals and reported speech. Students need to understand and be comfortable with the many forms of conditional sentences, and the lesson introduces several teaching tips. Reported statements are a useful teaching tool, and though they can be challenging for students, there are many methods of teaching them. These include playing intermediary, reporting verbs, and doing interviews.
