The Franconian International School is an IB World School with high expectations and rigorous educational standards. The FIS provides an inquiry-based curriculum for students from Early Years classes for three-year-olds through the Primary and Secondary Schools to graduation in Grade 12 with the International Baccalaureate (IB) as well as the FIS High School Diploma.
Responsibilities:
- To be able to plan, teach, assess and manage all subject areas normally expected in a primary classroom based on the FIS curriculum
- To be able to organise their class learning environment
- To communicate regularly and effectively with parents
- Follow all procedures in order to assist the smooth running of the school
- Responsibilities according to FIS Teacher Job Description
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Teaching qualification with valid teaching licence, if applicable
- Relevant University degree
- Ability to work in a team
- Strong focus on student-centred learning
- PYP curriculum experience preferred
- Experience in an international school an advantage
- Minimum of two years teaching experience preferred
