Troubleshooting is a day to day for TEFL and pretty much any teacher, things don't always go the way we want them to go, so, knowing what to do and how to react when it happens is very important for us as educators. Having a back up and preparing ourselves enough for the class to succeed shows commitment and there is nothing that inspires a class as much as commitment does. I enjoyed the course and learned a lot.This unit briefly described the common methods of teaching English and the Engage, Study and Activate method in detail. I learned the three different stages of the ESA method and numerous examples for each stage. I gained an understanding of the importance of eliciting student participation. I concluded from the lesson that class preparation is required to keep the class interesting and the students motivated.
