We are looking for someone with a college or university degree (preferably in English or languages) or a PGCE primary degree (main subject English)or a gap year student with at least an A level GCE in English Language or someone with a full TEFL/TESOL qualification who loves kids and wishes to spend at least a year here in Innsbruck. Please DO NOT apply if you are NOT British with well-pronounced English and excellent written English skills.

Every year we need someone who loves working with children and would enjoy teaching them proper English. We have an English Kindergarten in Innsbruck and are looking for someone who would like to spend a year abroad working here together with two other young members of staff. You will have plenty of free time. No weekend work and all your evenings are free. A somewhat different job, but just as much fun (if not more). Being in the city and surrounded by mountains means there is lots for you to do and see. Plenty of friends to make too. We have a great team working here and need further outgoing, creative, fun-loving team-members. We will pay your health insurance and supply and pay for your live-out room where you can meet other young people like yourself and give you 100.- Euros per week for you to buy your food and for spending. Work is 31 hours per week, mainly in the mornings. The official school holidays are free but NOT paid, hence you may want to do other babysitting work during this time to earn money. We offer a friendly, homely, fun-loving, working environment. There is plenty of extra baby-sitting work in town for you to earn extra cash if you should want to.If you would be interested in coming here to work for a year (starts 1st September till end of July) please contact us with your details, thanks.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I don't normally get involved in testing or evaluating the children that come to me, normally my superior would do this, however, having read through this and listened to the video, I've realised how important it is for me to receive a copy of the evaluation sheet in order for me to set the appropriate tone and level of the classwork. I will definitely be putting in my recommendations at my end of year appraisal.I feel I have learnt various things about the differences between good and bad qualities of teaching and being a teacher, as well as the differences between different stages of learning and factors that may affect learning. There are various roles that the teacher should take in order for the learners to not only absorb information but to take part in activities and be involved in different processes of learning.
